Tedy Lacap Bruschi was born on June 9, 1973 in San Francisco, California from Anthony Sr. and Juanita Bruschi. He has 3 other siblings. He went to Roseville High School, where he lettered twice in football and was the captain of the varsity football team for 2 years getting all-conference, all-northern California and all-metro honors as a defensive tackle. Bruschi went to Arizona state university were he tied the NCAA Division I-A career sack record with 52.0. He has many records held with his school and also with the NCAA Football. Tedy got drafted by the Patriots in the third round (86th overall) of the 1996 NFL draft. Tedy Bruschi is the only player in NFL history to return 4 interceptions for touchdowns. Tedy Bruschi has 3 superbowl rings with the patriots and he helped the patriots win the superbowl in 2004 with an interception. Ten days after the superbowl and 3 days after Bruschi participated in his first pro bowl he had a stroke. Tedy announced in July that he would sit out the 2005 season. Six games in the season Tedy was feelin fine and his doctors told him if he wanted he could start practicing. He started to practice and a week later he was back on the feild vs Buffalo at home. The croud gave a standing ovation.
